Young Professionals F1-Themed Networking Night at apbcOffices
apbcOffices hosted the American Chamber of Commerce’s F1-themed Young Professionals Networking Night at the Sky Garden, Straits Trading Building in Singapore on June 16th 2011. Our special thanks to ESPN Star Sports Formula One commentator, Stephen Slater, for his valuable insights into the sport.
The night started with an opening speech by our very own Group Marketing Communications Manager, Pooja Ramavat, followed by Stephen Slater, who gave a rundown of the action-packed F1 race and inside scoops of which team and driver might rule the podium this year, in addition to the exclusive screening of the 2010 Singapore race highlights. The sky garden was overwhelmed with various industry professionals, scattered and mingling in groups and exchanging business cards. Everyone enjoyed the free flow of drinks while having a bird’s eye view of the street race circuit and marina bay.
To further raise the excitement of the event, FORMULA ONE simulators were also brought in for the audience to test their driving skills and see if they had what it takes to be an F1 driver. It was a fun evening with every 150 attendees who had the chance to try the F1 simulators and feel the vibes of being in the driver’s seat!

In this documentary by Channel News Asia titled ‘Design Superheroes’, you’ll get to see how our top-class designer, Colin Seah, shares his thoughts on how to beat the workday blues with creative designs for the office through the transformation of space.
